Relax in the comfort and special ambience of our large 17th century coaching inn and enjoy delicious steaks, grills, fish dishes and home made desserts. Visit us and you'll find an extensive, ever-changing seasonal menu offering freshly cooked meals from locally sourced produce. Or, if you are just looking to unwind, we feature a wide range of excellent wines and traditional ales.
Enjoy our large, river-side garden and marquee in the summer and real crackling log fires in the winter. With a variety of room sizes holding up to 130 seated guests, we can cater for a range of functions. Situated beside the Great River Ouse, The Falcon was once a working mill. Our splendid oak-paneled restaurant was once a local court room and Victorian writer Edward Fitzgerald stayed here while translating the famous 'The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám'. We even have our own ghost!
